About the Campaign.CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN - Playtabase makes wearable patent-pending technology that gives you control over your electronics in magical and exciting ways. Electronics are a big part of all our lives. We use them constantly in our homes and in our daily lives. Now you can control electronics in your home simply by waving your hands. Playtabase gives you the control to turn lights on and off with a flick of the wrist. Our revolutionary technology works for more than just lights. Playtabase can be applied to any number of electronics in your home.Not only is this very cool and super convenient, but it also helps the victims of debilitating strokes and illnesses. My own father has suffered from the effects of a stroke. He can use Playtabase to replace his remote or save him time and energy doing routine tasks with electronics. We’ve already created a prototype to prove our concept works. But it isn’t ready for consumers quite yet. That’s why we're raising money to move our device from prototype to product. Our vision is to make wrist-worn stylish bands giving you complete control over the electronics in your life. We need help covering the legal fees associated with the patents on our groundbreaking technology. We still need $3,000 to cover, and we hope to raise more to bring the project closer to a marketable product soon. Business Development Muhammad Abdurrahman: PhD Candidate I have almost 2 years of marketing experience for technology companies, 1 yr as a new ventures analyst for a VC firm, two 3rd place finishes in area tech-business development/pitch competitions, and 2 years leading a non-profit foundation I co-founded which serves over 500 children in the Twin Cities metro area and has a staff of 10 people. Technology Development Heng-yi Huang: I’m a senior computer science student in U of M, who founded the Global China Connection-Twin Cities chapter during my sophomore year and have industry experience working on software including-mobile applications. Lin Zi-heng: I’m a senior civil engineering major, and I’ve participated in advanced sensor research at the U of M. Funders.
